About this DJ

Chris Vanley started DJíng in 2006, when a good friend gave him a digital Behringer mixer. After becoming skilled with this device, he shortly after made the switch to vinyl and got on the train regularly to visit the vinyl store in Utrecht. This became a ritual quite quickly, and so a life long passion was born. 

After a few years he decided he wanted to travel the world, and there was not often time or space to pursue his DJ-ing hobby. With pain in his heart he ended up selling his vinyl decks at this point. For years after this the idea of making music kept going through is head, until in 2022 he impulsively bought a set of Pioneers. Since this day, he can be found behind the decks daily, and you can expect weekly mixes from him at his gigs, on his social media channels, or of course on his weekly show Club 107 on FM Radio. 

Because of his passion for travelling and the constant change Chris went through in his shaping years, you will hear traces of this in his DJ-sets. With his heart filled with tech-house and other EDM styles he strives to be the best version of himself and hopes to make as many people as possible happy with all the tracks he discovered in his musical scavenger hunts. 

With a soud that reaches from the big mainstages in festival country to the deepest bunkers in the underground scene, Chris always knows how to capture the musical feeling that surprises the club- and festivalgoer and brings them in the best mindspace, for an unforgettable experience.
